A tool for bands, by a drummer
Version
Every band has had the same moment — "let's run the bridge" and suddenly half the room disagrees on what the bridge even is.
BandMap is the fix. Grab a tablet or phone, listen to the track, sketch your song structure in a few minutes, add notes for each player on each section, upload resources, share it and tweak it during rehearsals. That's it. No complex charts, no score, no whiteboard.
It's a single HTML file — free, no account, no cloud. Just email it around or drop it in a shared folder.
Work in progress, rough around the edges, built by a drummer who got tired of the confusion. If it helps, or if something's broken — I'd love to know.

Your unsaved changes will be lost.
Name your song to get started — you can edit this anytime in the canvas header.
Your band songs are now stored in the cloud — they sync across all devices and survive browser clears. Nothing is lost.
Your local songs (Solo mode) are still in your browser. We recommend downloading a backup before continuing — just in case.
Tools to help solo artists and bands plan and perform are on their way — setlists, live mode, band directory and more.
Stay tuned — we'll let you know when it's ready. In the meantime, keep mapping those songs.
Report issues, share ideas, or just say hi — it all helps make BandMap better for everyone who uses it. Credits and high fives to those who help 🤘
A Band Account gives your whole band a shared live library — every member sees the same songs, notes and changes in real time, from any device.
Fill in your details and we'll get you set up with a shared band library.
Looks like you're getting good use out of BandMap — you've saved a few songs now. We'd love to know who you are. No obligation, just helps us understand who's using the app and what to build next.
BandMap stores everything in your browser's local storage — there's no cloud account and no automatic sync. That means if you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, or switch to a new device, your songs are gone unless you have a backup.
